Outfits Travel through your style! Hello everyone! I hope you are all well. No, I did not have to travel to the El-Khalili market in Cairo, nor to the Tunisian bazaars, for this beautiful photoshoot – although at some point, I want so much to visit these magical places. A fantastic cocktail bar, a little imagination, and a lot of talent from my professional photographer Nikoleta Vainali created this exotic atmosphere that transports you to other times and countries. I keep saying – especially if you read my blog often, you will have noticed it – that this is precisely the beauty of fashion, that it travels us and transforms us. You allow yourself to be free to express and transform without restrictions. And through this expression, that does not need words to “speak” and reveal aspects of yourself. I have always been fascinated by the stories, traditions, and fiction of these areas, their bazaars, their markets with incredible smells, colors, and images, and the unique fashion that always influences designers and inspires them. In this photoshoot, I mixed the traditional element of these areas with the modern aspect of our time and created the style you see today in the photos that can be easily worn at a special night out or just for a drink. Why not? I turned a very comfortable, wide, airy, soft fabric pants I bought this spring into a shalwar with the straps of my sandals – a trend that many women loved lately. The bustier I wear is a bikini top, and instead of a blazer that I could wear to make the style more earthy and perhaps more predictable, I wore a long handmade vest that I had in my closet for many years, by a Greek designer of the past. To make the oriental element more intense, I combined body jewelry with chains and the unique bracelet ring on the hand. I have these jewels in my collection anyway because I like to transform my clothes many times with unique accessories. On my head, I wore a long silk scarf in the colors of my clothes, but I could also let my hair down freely for a more modern style. And I also completed the outfit with gold high-heeled sandals and a gold bag for an elegant look. In general, my idea was to make a mix & match of modern and oriental elements for a look that can be worn on summer nights and impress. I hope you liked it as much as I did. I promise you another exotic look in the next blog post that I think you will also like. Until then, take care of yourself, enjoy magical summer nights wherever you are and do not forget to live every moment with passion! We thank the NOMA cocktail bar for its hospitality in its beautiful spaces. Kisses Menia ♡♡♡ Give me your love on INSTAGRAM and FACEBOOK too! It will be my pleasure to see you there!
