Modern Milkmaid Dress!

Hello Everyone? How are you? Do you feel the fall season and mood or not? Here in Greece is a little bit difficult to step into fall with 30 degrees Celsius (86 Fahrenheit). It still feels like summer, but we have to be prepared for fall and winter after all.

Even if I don’t want the summer to end, I do enjoy refreshing my wardrobe this season and buying a few pieces that can give a renewed air to my style and make this transition from summer to Fall comfortable and beautiful.

And what can be more beautiful than a floral midi dress with a square neck and puffed sleeves that remind us of another era? An era where Milkmaids were wearing this style of dresses, and that’s why we call them Milkmaid dresses. With a modern and sexy vibe, this dress was love at first sight. This dress also oozes femininity, romance, and sexiness because it has beautiful ruffles and a side split.

I combined it with sandal-mules because it’s still so hot in my country but later on, you can wear it with beautiful ankle boots or high knee boots. Both of them work perfectly well with it.

A leather jacket can make it look edgy, but a cape – which is the star of outwear this season again – enhances the whole look and style.

In the cold winter, I would wear it with a long black coat also.

A ladylike bag is terrific with this style. I have my vintage bag from my grandma since 1960 that I adore. It’s better to keep a small to medium bag size for this look.

My jewelry also has the colors and the style that matches this dress, and I did a low ponytail with a silk scarf to emphasize even more the neck and the puffed sleeves.

Generally, this Milkmaid style that comes back two years ago into fashion gives us the chance to create unique styles either wearing milkmaid tops or dresses.












That’s why most of the women loved this style and find it easy to wear it because it is comfortable and feminine.
