Outfits Join the festive spirit, Part 1st! Hello everyone! It’s this time of the year to get ready to join dinners and drinks, parties, and all these social gatherings that we missed so much the last years during the pandemic, trying to keep all the safe measures due to CoVid-19. One of the happiest things about this Christmas time is the preparations. Do you agree, my friends? Buying gifts, decorating the house, preparing menus, and planning what to wear these festive days is so much fun and gets us all to the festive spirit! Now let’s talk about what to wear! We are not always in the mood to wear glamorous dresses, sequins, and all these sparkle items that this season has, including me. Not that I don’t like them. I’m a big fan of all of these sparkle items. If you have been reading my posts a while now, you can see that I love all these – sparkle and shine – looks of these festive days! You can see them if you visit the links Holiday dresses for every occasion! and A special suit for parties!. Did pandemic and lockdown life change me? I think it did in a more conscious way. Now I prefer long-lasting, timeless, and more wearable clothes with the items I already have in my closet. #sustainablefashion Like the pieces, I’m wearing today. Let’s take a look at today’s outfit. 1) The velvet pants. It is one of the fabrics I like most for the winter and the holiday season! Velvet is a fabric that screams holidays but also luxury and elegance. Not to mention how versatile and comfortable it is. When I saw these classic and chic wide-legged, Devore pants at Zara (this year’s winter collection), I knew I had to have this piece for now and forever! I imagined wearing it on the Christmas holidays with more or less glamorous items. But I can also wear them with a sweater, a shirt, or a turtleneck during the whole period of winter. You can see here a version with a sweater if you visit the link Fade to Grey…! Everything looks fantastic with a pair of sleek velvet pants and instantly elevates your whole look. I wear Velvet Pants – Zara 2) The playful frigged top. What not to love in this top! The fringes that move while you are walking or dancing, the one sleeve design, the prints and colors, all these details make it look unique and glamorous! When I ordered it from Shein, I thought this top would be perfect with everything I would wear this winter, from chic velvet pants to a pair of loose jeans, and I could dress up every look. Was I right? I wear One Sleeve Top – Shein 3) The shiny black coat. This piece is so many years in my closet, and still, every time I want a classy, warm coat for my special outfits, this is my first choice! The shiny details on the fabric and the faux fur collar (very trendy this year) are elegant and pair perfectly with my pants. I wear Black Coat – S’nob by Sans Noblesse 4) The black satin heels. Shoes for me are the A and Z on every look! They may be simple like these here, but the design and the satin details make them so feminine and classy that they can elevate any outfit! These particular heels, I enjoyed them already so much with dresses, skirts, and pants, and I’m sure they are going to take me to many more miles with class and comfort!! You can see them also if you visit my previous post The asymmetrical, loose black dress for the festive days! I wear Satin Heels – Luigi 5) The golden bag. Can it be a golden Christmas gift package I made my one or a luxury golden bag? A playful or a preppy style? An unexpecting detail or a predictable one? Depending on your personality, style, and mood, it’s your choice. I wear Golden Package – Jumbo Golden Bag – Personal Collection 6) Jewelry. I kept the jewelry in a more minimalist but sophisticated tone to compliment the look without playing the first role here. All jewelry is from my personal collection. I think it’s a look that I can wear with ease this festive season to go for a drink or to dance but also in any other night out during the winter. I hope this look inspired you for the holidays in a more relaxed, simple way of dressing these days. Stay with me for more inspiration for the magical days coming ahead! Until then, stay well and safe, and don’t forget to live every moment with passion! Kisses Menia ♡♡♡ Give me your love on INSTAGRAM and FACEBOOK too! It will be my pleasure to see you there!
