Boho mood in a “Flea market”!

Hello Everyone!

How are you? Are you enjoying the summer so far? Did you have the chance to go to the beach or to have a small escape of your everyday routine? I hope that you did!

In one of the hottest days of the summer so far in Thessaloniki, Nikoleta, and I visited The “Flea market” in a place of “TIF HELEXPO.”

It is an outdoor market which is started many years ago in other countries around the world and the last years came in Greece too. In this market, you can find new but mostly used and second-hand merchandise to buy at low prices than the usual. In fact, the name “Flea Market” means that the second-hand clothes or other materials have been infected by fleas. Unbelievable, right?

Still, for us who love the essence of the old, the history and the charm of it, we don’t stop because of that. On the other hand, there you can find new, creative things and accessories. For us (me and Nikoleta) “Flea Market is a beautiful wonderland!

So I wandered to the place with the old porcelains and the home accessories, I felt the old paper of the old books, comics and magazines and I saw wonderful covers of records from legendary music groups. I also listened to music from old pick-up players, but I bought (could not resist) beautiful new earrings as well and tried new bags from wood that could be the new summer trend!

It’s difficult to describe the joy and admiration that we felt for the things that we discovered with Nikoleta, but I hope that we’ll give you an idea how it was with the help of the beautiful photos that Nikoleta shot that day!

I couldn’t think of a better style to wear that day than the comfortable boho style!

I combined my skirt (which by the way I wear as a topless dress too) with a lace crop top that matches perfectly with it, and I also added my fringed bag and my espadrilles to complete this flirty bohemian look.

I would like to thank not only all the kind and friendly merchants of the “Flea market” but all of you as well for coming to all of these “small journeys” of mine!
